Here is what our customers are saying about the Lightning Strike.
"This is the best screed by far and I've used all of them. I'm able to sell other screeds, but I don't even bother to bring them up, the Lightning Strike is so forgiving with an inexperienced crew! - Nov, 2008

To: Lura Enterprises
We are in the farm and commercial grain bin business; therefore we pour tanks from 18 ft to 60 ft diameter. In reference to the Lightning Strike on bin pours 18ft to 60 ft diameter, this is probably without a doubt the best piece of equipment we own. It has cut our bin project time and in return our labor down dramatically.
With the screed's light weight design and drive assembly, ease of set up and clean up, I feel it is a must have tool for any one in the grain bin industry.
Sincerely,
Todd Lundgren, ASI Contracting Emmetsburg, IA

Dear Dennis Lura,
We purchased your screed 4 months ago. Since then, we have used it on all types of flatwork including basement floors, garage floors, driveways, sidewalks, pole shed slabs, and parking lots. We have used it on over 100,000 sq ft of concrete. It has made flatwork less arduous. It strikes off nicely, cuts down on hand work in plumbing areas, and can be rolled into place rather than being lifted into place.
While the crew was a bit skeptical at first, we have all become believers. One of our finishers said that if he ever leaves the company, he is taking the Lightning Strike with him! The Lightning Strike is a piece of equipment we are very happy to own.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Nelson
Camrud Foss Concrete Constr., Inc Moorhead, MN
"A much faster setup than a truss screed"
"We are very happy with how flat our floors are"
"We use the Lightning Strike on 70% of our jobs"
-Toby Christensen, Camrud Foss
"I have found them to be extremely easy to work with and they have stood behind their award winning products... so I feel they are a very good company to deal with."
Scott Erickson, Evolution Paving Resources Salem, OR
"My crew just loves this screed... We can do a 48' bin pad in half the time, while going from 4 guys to 3 guys on the pour crew, and increasing quality, plus I can dump the trucks as fast as I want...We will be getting another one.
